Alexis Sanchez admits he makes it hard for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to rest him as he always wants to play.
Sanchez has occasionally played with niggling problems and has struggled for form since making a return from injury in January.
The Chilean has admitted that Wenger has wanted to hand him a rest at times but he stressed that if possible he always wants to be on the pitch.
“I do always want to play, so that’s right. It’s because football is my passion, it’s my life,” he told the club’s official website. “Sometimes the manager says to me that I should have a rest, but I say ‘I do not want to rest.’ I’d rather go home and use the gym in my house to exercise in order to maintain my form.”
