Southampton captain Jose Fonte and midfielder Victor Wanyama are fit to face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
Defender Fonte and midfielder Wanyama, who were both taken to hospital with respective head and ribs injuries following the 1-1 draw with Everton last weekend, have passed fitness tests.
However, Charlie Austin and Florin Gardos remain on the sidelines with long-term knee problems.
Saints travel to Villa Park facing a side which rock-bottom in the Premier League and already consigned to relegation, so it offers them a good opportunity to pick up three points in their quest to secure European qualification in their remaining games.
Boss Ronald Koeman claims his side must improve their cutting edge in attack if they are going to make up ground on the sides just above them, as it cost them three points in last week’s draw at Everton.
He said: “I think we need productivity. We need to improve in our final part, in attacking-wise.
“The final pass is not always a good one and thatÂ’s all about that you then donÂ’t create a big opportunity. To be more ruthless in the box because against Everton we were the better team, we had the better chances, and finally itÂ’s 1-1.”
Koeman added: “It’s not enough because the teams above us won their games and many points and there is a gap.
“I already knew that after the draw against Everton because it was a really big opportunity we missed not to win the game and to stay more close to the teams above us and now itÂ’s really difficult.
“Still we need to believe in finishing the season in a good way and that starts this Saturday.”
