Everton manager Ronald Koeman wants to raid his old club Southampton for Cuco Martina as he looks to add an experienced right-back.
The Sun claim Koeman will attempt to do a deal with Saints for the Curacao international defender, who he signed from Twente a year ago.
The Dutchman needs an experienced defender to compete with Seamus Coleman after Everton released Tony Hibbert earlier this summer.
Martina, 26, finished the season strongly after breaking into the Southampton line-up on a regular basis at Christmas and scored a memorable goal in Saints’ 4-0 Boxing Day win over Arsenal.
Koeman brought Maarten Stekelenburg to Goodison Park earlier this month, having signed his fellow Dutchman on loan for the Saints a year ago.
