Roma to battle Manchester United and Leicester City for £25million-rated Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo
Roma are lining up a summer move for Manchester United and Leicester target Jeison Murillo.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A side are desperate to sign a new defender after Antonio Rudiger tore his cruciate knee ligament in his first training session with Germany at Euro 2016.
And now they are ready to turn to in-demand Colombian Murillo, who impressed during his 34 appearances at centre-back for Inter Milan last season – his first in Italian football.
The 24-year-old is wanted by a long list of clubs across Europe including United and Premier League champions Leicester.
Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on the situation and Inter are hoping his value will be pushed up given the level of interest in Murillo.
The defender only signed for Inter this time last year for around £7million and he penned a five-year contract.
So it has been suggested that the San Siro side will not think about selling him for any less than £25m this year.
