Burnley are in the hunt to sign Hal Robson-Kanu, but will have to wait until after the transfer deadline has passed.
The Wales international is a free agent after his contract with Reading expired at the end of last season and that means he can wait until after the window has closed before making a decision.
The midfielder is not short of offers following his impressive performances at Euro 2016 this summer, and he is willing to wait until the hectic transfer deadline has passed before he makes a decision on his next move.
A switch to a Premier League club is on the cards with Burnley, Hull and Swansea all ready to fight for his signature.
“Without doubt, running down my contract at Reading was the best decision of my life,” he said.
“Reading wanted me to stay but I felt it was the right time to move and take my future in my own hands. I always believed in myself.
“We’ve had offers, I’ve made no secret of the fact that my desire is to play in the Premier League again and I think I’ve proved what I can do at the highest level.”
