Roberto Martinez: I’ve got no problem with unhappy fans

“We’re very, very disappointed with the home form, it’s been dreadful this season. Apart from that we’re where we deserve.”

Watford keeper Heurelho Gomes revealed a midweek meeting with boss Quique Sanchez Flores was the key to the Hornets claiming a first point in five games.

Gomes said: “The game before at Arsenal we lacked a little bit of confidence and desire.

“We had a meeting during the week, the manager reminded us how we played the first half of the season, what our game was like, our passsion when we approach the game, and we needed to do more of that.

“We lost that in the last few games but we came again today and we showed the character that we can continue to do that.

“It’s not an easy stage of the competition, I’ve been in this competition many times and I know that at this stage it’s very difficult to keep going, but we showed that we can finish this season strong.”
