Arsenal will have to move quickly if they wish to secure a move for Alexandre Lacazette as reports claim Liverpool are ready to swoop.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has put the Lyon striker high on his wanted list and reports have claimed that talks with the French club have already taken place.
Wenger is ready to pay £34million to land the striker but he is not alone as reports claim that Liverpool are also willing to go that high and could hijack Arsenal attempts to do a deal.
Liverpool are set to bank in the region of £30million by selling Christian Benteke to Crytsal Palace, and Reds boss Jurgen Klopp will use the cash to fund a deal for Lacazette.
The Gunners will still be in the box seat as they can offer the striker Champions League football, but they will have to hurry or Lacazette could consider a move to Anfield.
Everton striker Romelu Lukaku also remains a target for Wenger as he steps up his striker search.
