Swansea face a battle to land Wales international midfielder Hal Robson-Kanu after Watford entered the race for his signature.
The versatile 26-year-old, who can operate as a wide man or in the centre of the pitch, is set to depart the Madejski Stadium at the end of the season when he will be available on a Bosman free transfer.
The Royals are hoping to open talks about tying him down to a new deal extension, but it seems Robson-Kanu is looking to return to the Premier League after three years in the Championship.
Swansea have been heavily linked with a move for the player, who will wait until after Wales’ Euro 2016 campaign before making a decision on his future.
However Southampton and now Watford, are also believed to be keen on signing Robson-Kanu after being impressed with his record of five goals and nine assists in a below mid-table side.
