Ryan Shawcross has dismissed suggestions all is not well in Stoke camp and insists the dressing room is united.
The Potters have got the season off to an alarming start and sit bottom of the Premier League table, which has kicked off rumours that all is not well behind the scenes.
The tabloid press have suggested that new loan signing Wilfried Bony and Giannelli Imbula are the cause of the problems, something which has been dismissed by Shawcross.
“Wilf’s come in and shown a brilliant attitude,” Shawcross revealed. “He’s part of the team and he’s very enthusiastic. G (Imbula) is obviously disappointed he’s not in the team but he’s working hard to get back in.
“We’ve got a very good group of lads, a good team spirit and that’s what will get us the points that we need to have a good season.”
Shawcross was speaking after Stoke were denied all three points against West Brom at the weekend, but he says it will not be long before they are climbing the table.
“It’s always disappointing when you concede a last minute goal and of course the lads were a bit deflated. But when you sit back and take a look we put in a good performance,” the defender said.
“Overall there are a lot of positives to take out of it and if we play like that until the end of the season we will have another good year.”
