REVEALED: The towns ‘dumped’ with asylum seekers while Cameron’s constituency takes NONE

Rochdale Independent MP Simon Danczuk said the Government was “hell-bent” on making it as difficult as possible to provide services amid the influx of new arrivals, with spending power also cut by up to five per cent.

He listed the top five local authorities with the most asylum seekers as Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Rochdale and Bolton, which have all taken in 1,000 people each.

Meanwhile David Cameron’s constituency of Witney had “zero” asylum seekers whatsover, while raking in a “healthy 1% increase in spending power over the coming years”, he said.
