The 21-year-old, who has yet to make a senior appearance for the Baggies, is a regular for the club’s Under-21 side, but his route into Tony Pulis’s squad is blocked by Ben Foster and Boaz Myhill.

As a result, he is looking for regular action elsewhere and a deal is thought to be in place with Crawley where he would join them for the rest of the campaign after he spent a similar successful spell out on loan at Accrington earlier in the season, for whom he made eight appearances.
