Remi Garde warns Joleon Lescott over Twitter ‘accident’ following Liverpool defeat

Garde added: “If it’s an accident you can’t say any more. You can’t ban social media because these days it is a big part of people’s lives, especially younger people.

“But, when 20 years ago something like this would have been between two or three people, now it goes to two or three million.”

The Villa boss also confirmed goalkeeper Mark Bunn will not be made the scapegoat for their hammering by the Reds.

Insisting he has no need to bring back Brad Guzan for Saturday’s trip to Stoke, Garde added: “You need stability. Mark probably has some responsibility for some of the goals we conceded.

“But before that in the game she played we won two, drew two and lost two and you have to remember that. I won’t change the goalkeeper.”
