Manchester United are being linked with a move for Julian Draxler as their attempts to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan continue to stall.
Reds boss Jose Mourinho is determined to add fresh attacking talent to his ranks this summer and had put Borussia Dortmund star Mkhitaryan high on his wanted list.
However, United are struggling to agree a fee with Dortmund for the Armenia international, and reports have suggested Mourinho will now turn his attentions to Draxler instead.
The German international is valued at £30million by his current club Wolfsburg, and it has been suggested that talks have already taken place between the two clubs.
The 22-year-old only joined Wolfsburg from Schalke 12 months ago in a deal worth £25.5million and they are reluctant to cash in on the player at this time.
Draxler, on the other hand, would jump at a chance to join United, despite a lack of Champions League football, and could push for a move once Euro 2016 is over.
