Manchester United are closing in on yet another signing after opening talks over a deal for the Mexico striker Hirving Lozano.
United have confirmed the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free transfer and, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan set to follow, it has been a busy few days for the club.
The new signings will not stop there though and the exciting youngster Lozano could also be heading to Old Trafford once he has represented Mexico at the Olympic Games.
The 20-year-old plays his football with Mexican club Pachuca, and their president Andres Fassi, has confirmed talks over a potential deal have already started.
“Is there already a negotiation with that team? Yes.” Fassi told ESPN Digital when quizzed over United’s interest. “There is still nothing [finalised].”
Lozano bagged 12 goals for Pachuca last season, and Jose Mourinho clearly sees him as a star of the future.
