Nathan Redmond has been ruled out of Norwich’s clash against West Bromwich Albion this weekend with an ankle injury.
The midfielder went over on his ankle in the latter stages of the 0-0 draw against Manchester City and the Canaries are still waiting to discover the full extent of the damage.
However he is definitely out of the crucial clash against the Baggies and has also been forced to pull out of the England under-21 squad for next weekÂ’s Uefa European U21 Championship qualifier against Switzerland in Thun.
“Nathan Redmond is missing through injury, so it is an opportunity for the lads to come in and show us what they can do,” Under-21s boss Gareth Southgate said.
“Nathan Redmond has been a key player for us and he is out.”
Canaries boss Alex Neil will be praying the injury is nothing serious and Redmond will only be forced to miss the Albion game, with Norwich 51/20 with Titanbet to take all three points at West Brom on Saturday.
