Norwich will be without Nathan Redmond for a “few weeks” but he should be able to return for the final run-in.
The winger sustained an ankle injury in the draw with Manchester City last time out and has been forced to pull out of the latest England U21 squad as a result.
Norwich boss Alex Neil has now confirmed Redmond will also miss key games for his club as they battle against the Premier League drop, but he expects the 22-year-old to return before the season comes to an end.
Speaking to reporters ahead of Saturday’s match with West Brom, Neil said: “Nathan will be out for a few weeks.
“He will still definitely play a part in our season. It’s a case of time and getting him back to speed.”
Redmond’s absence comes as a big blow for Norwich as they face relegation rivals Newcastle and Sunderland in April and it seems as if the former Birmingham man will definitely miss the former’s visit at the start of next month.
However, Norwich should take confidence from their result against City last weekend and punters may wish to use their free bet to back Neil’s side to get a result at the Hawthorns this weekend against a Baggies side who are comfortable in mid-table.
