The Champions League winners are no longer interested in a deal for the France international, according to ABC, and will focus on signing Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante for a fraction of the price at which Pogba is being touted.

United – currently priced at 7/2 with Titanbet to win the Premier League next season – are understood to have moved into a strong position over a deal for the 23-year-old midfielder with reports in recent days suggesting that Pogba has agreed personal terms with the club.

Old Trafford chiefs are now preparing to present their mega offer to Juventus with the figure of £105million to include a hefty agent’s fee for Mino Raiola – the man who also worked on the deals to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Manchester.
