West Ham have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
Kovacic joined Los Blancos in a 29million euros deal from Inter Milan last summer and he managed 25 La Liga outings last season, but was largely used as a substitute.
It is understood Real are keen to offload the 22-year-old and Liverpool had been linked, but it is thought the Anfield side have ended their interest.
Reports now claim the Spanish giants have offered West Ham and Everton the chance to sign Kovacic in a £30million deal although they are also willing to send the Croatia international out on loan.
A permanent bid appears unlikely for the Hammers due to the fact manager Slaven Bilic has stressed a new striker is his top priority, but the chance to sign his highly-rated compatriot on a temporary deal could appeal.
