Reading defender Paul McShane and midfielder Danny Williams have both completed three-match bans and are available for selection.

Winger Hal Robson-Kanu (calf) and striker Deniss Rakels could feature but full-back Jordan Obita (hamstring) will miss out again.

Preston goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard (shoulder) and defender Marnick Vermijl (foot) will both be assessed.

Striker Eoin Doyle, on loan from Cardiff, could return to the side.
