Hull are reported to be among the clubs chasing Derby County midfielder Jeff Hendrick after he impressed at Euro 2016.
The Dubliner caught the eye in France with his assured displays in the Republic of Ireland engine room – particularly in the 1-0 win over Italy and the last-16 defeat to the hosts.
Those performances have prompted plenty of speculation surrounding his future, with claims the Tigers and Middlesbrough are vying for his signature.
Both clubs will know all about the 24-year-old after coming up against him in the Championship promotion clashes against Derby last season.
Everton, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth are also reported to be keen on the midfielder, who is under contract at the iPro Stadium until 2018, while there is also interest from Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Whether Hull can conclude a deal remains to be seen as some reports claim Steve Bruce is unable to sign players while the club search for new owners.
