The Frenchman’s agent has been at the centre of almost all of United’s transfer activity this summer and is now trying to pull off the biggest coup of all and earn himself a hefty fee.

Reds boss Jose Mourinho wants Pogba at any price and reports claim Ed Woodward is fully behind him, but some members of the Old Trafford board may need further encouragement in order to make Pogba the most expensive player in world football.

Juventus have made no comment since the speculation took off during Euro 2016 although they have repeatedly said the 23-year-old is ‘not for sale’ – the last such statement coming in May.

Raiola insists he is no rush to discuss the Juventus midfielder’s future in the wake of Euro 2016, with Pogba expected to take a short break before returning to Turin ahead of the new Serie A campaign.

And with Juventus reportedly set to offer Pogba a contract extension beyond 2019, Raiola insists he is willing to listen to every club before he and the player decide.

He told reporters: “Several big clubs are keen on his services and we have all the time to listen.

“He has three years left at Juventus and they are asking him to renew. Why would they want to let him go?”

Real Madrid were reported to have dropped out of the race for Pogba’s signature over the weekend, citing economic reasons for giving up their pursuit.
