Swansea face a battle to re-sign Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen after West Brom entered the race to sign him.
The 26-year-old, who has impressed with Wales at Euro 2016 as Chris Coleman’s side have progressed to the quarter-finals where they will face Belgium on Friday, has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield in this transfer window.
Allen has struggled for regular game time under current Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and is certain to be made available by the Merseysiders.
The Swans are believed to have seen a bid in the region of £8million already rejected as they ponder a second offer of £10million, while fellow Premier League outfit West Ham have also been linked.
Allen’s former Swansea and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is also interested in taking him north of the border to Celtic with Inter Milan and Sevilla making up the list of potential suitors.
However reports claim Albion boss Tony Pulis is looking to beef up his midfield options and will make an offer to Allen which will also guarantee him regular first-team football at The Hawthorns.
