Arsenal are reported to have failed with an opening offer of £16million for Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina.
The Italian champions are willing to cash in on the Gabon international, who operates in central midfield, but they are holding out for a fee closer to £20million.
Stoke were recently told by Juve that Lemina would only leave for such a figure, and Arsenal will be told the same if Arsene Wenger pursues his interest in the player.
Juve have only just signed Lemina on a permanent basis after he impressed during a loan spell from French side Marseille, but they will sell if they can make a quick profit.
Watford and West Brom have also been linked with a move, and with there being so many admirers, the Old Lady are confident of getting their asking price.
