West Brom boss Tony Pulis believes his side’s 1-1 draw against Stoke was deserved following their hardworking performance on Saturday.

Potters coach Mark Hughes was left disappointed after claiming his team deserved all three points at the Bet365 Stadium.

However, Pulis was quick to disagree and he was pleased with his side’s performance as they grabbed a share of the points with the last kick of the game.

Joe Allen had put Stoke in front but Salomon Rondon’s late header ensured the Baggies left with a point and Pulis believes their gutsy display was rewarded.

He told reporters: “We haven’t got the array of talent that Stoke have got but the players don’t stop.

“If we’d lost I’d have been really disappointed because there wasn’t much in the game. The performance of the players and the attitude of the players never stopped.”
