Premier League calendar year table: Where every club would have finished based on results from 2016 only

It’s all over for another season in the Premier League.

Leicester City ran away with the title, leaving the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City nursing their damaged egos.

But it really was a season of two halves for some, as the Blues, Sunderland and Swansea City will tell you.

Taking only results from 2016, would there be any significant changes in league standings?

Did Arsenal’s form take a noticeable dive? Were Manchester United really top four contenders? Should Alan Pardew consider himself fortune to have a new long-term deal on its way?
