Stoke City target Michy Batshuayi has denied speculation linking him with a move and says he is happy with Marseille.
The Belgium international has scored 16 goals in 35 league games this season, form that has not only impressed national boss Marc Wilmots, but a host of Premier League clubs as well.
Newcastle and Stoke both made enquiries during the January transfer window, but the player ended up staying in France.
The 22-year-old has continued to be linked with a summer exit but he has now quashed any rumours that he will leave the French giants, saying he is happy where he is.
“My future is at Marseille,” He told L’Équipe. “I want to stay, I love the stadium, the fans, lots of players in this squad. I am in love with this club.
“I would prefer to leave this club after leaving a trace on peopleÂ’s minds, my story with Marseille is far from over.”
However the question remains over whether Marseille will be able to resist any huge offers that come in for the player, with Tottenham and West Ham United also known to be keen.
