West Brom haven’t responded to Stoke City’s £20m bid for Saido Berahino and have included the striker in their Fox Sports Cup plans.
Stoke are understood to have tabled the bid for the 22-year-old striker earlier this week but are still awaiting a response from Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace.
The club have previously stated their intention to hold on to Berahino, but the striker has made it clear in the past that he wants to move on and favourited a tweet about Stoke’s bid on Tuesday.
Berahino is part of a 21-strong Albion squad heading to the Netherlands for two matches in the space of three days.
West Brom take on hosts Vitesse Arnhem on Thursday before facing Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven on Saturday and the amount of action Berahino sees across the two matches could indicate how ready Albion are to part with their star.
The Baggies will not let Berahino leave until a replacement is found with West Ham’s Diafra Sakho a target and the Hammers, like Albion, want reinforcements before sanctioning any move.
Manchester United striker James Wilson remains a possibility but any move would likely come towards the end of the window, should he still be available.
