Porto want to take Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho on loan for the season.
The 26-year-old has fallen out of favour under Jurgen Klopp over the summer and he was sent home early from the club’s pre-season tour of America.
The France international is now eager to find a new team before the end of the month and he has offers to stay in England.
But, according to A Bola, Sakho may end up in Portugal after Porto expressed an interest in signing him on loan.
The club are on the hunt for defensive reinforcements – especially as the future of Bruno Martins Indi remains uncertain.
The Dutchman has been linked with a late move to England – with Liverpool one of those interested – and Porto are wary about losing him without any cover in place.
