Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to be reunited with Adam Lallana and is ready to offer £20million for the Liverpool winger.
Lallana was a key figure for Pochettino when he was in charge of Southampton before the two men went their separate ways in the summer of 2014 but the Argentine has kept a close eye on the England international’s progress.
After a difficult first season on Merseyside, the 28-year-old has improved under Reds boss Jurgen Klopp and has been a regular for the German in the second half of the current campaign.
Despite seemingly being a big part of Klopp’s future plans, reports claim Pochettino has instructed Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to try and persuade Lallana to move to White Hart Lane this summer.
Spurs are said to be ready to offer £20million for the wideman’s services, £5million less than Liverpool reportedly paid when they brought him to Anfield two years ago.
