Caretaker boss Mike Phelan hopes Hull City make a decision on whether or not to appoint him on a permanent basis soon.
Phelan has been in temporary charge of the Premier League club since Steve Bruce’s resignation earlier in the summer.
The Tigers were expected to struggle by many due to Bruce’s departure and a lack of summer transfer activity.
However, they have managed two wins in as many league games under Phelan’s guidance and punters may wish to use their free bet to back Hull to be the top promoted team.
Phelan remains in the dark over his own future but he is keen to take the role on a permanent basis and the former Manchester United assistant is keen for Hull to make a decision as quickly as possible.
“I am sure the people in charge will do the right thing,” said Phelan.
“I think everyone knows we have decisions to make on my future, the future of the staff and the ownership.
“Hopefully those decisions will be taken soon. It could be a busy time.”
