Thiago Silva has told Zlatan Ibrahimovic to reject interest from Manchester United to stay at Paris Saint-Germain.
The Swede has been in stunning form this season and has scored 38 goals in 41 games in all competitions.
The 34-year-old’s contract with PSG expires in the summer, though, and he has attracted interest from Manchester United.
But Ibrahimovic’s captain, Silva, wants the striker to snub a move to Old Trafford and stay in the French capital.
“I’m not just saying this because I’m friends with him, but I can’t imagine PSG without Zlatan,” Silva told Sky Deutschland.
“Ibra is invaluable for our team, opponents struggle to get him under control. He’s simply too clever and his moves are very intelligent.
“Some argue that he’s getting old, I would rather say he’s experienced. At the moment I can’t imagine PSG without him very easily.”
