Crystal Palace have been boosted by the news Joe Ledley, Joel Ward and Scott Dann are all available for Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final.
The Eagles face Watford at Wembley for a place in next month’s final – with Palace currently the 11/8 favourites with Titanbet to win in 90 minutes – and boss Alan Pardew has plenty of options to choose from after being given a triple injury boost in the build-up to the game.
Ward, Ledley and Dann were all left at home for Wednesday’s 2-0 defeat at Manchester United due to slight concerns and could all come straight back into the starting XI, along with Yannick Bolasie, who has rested for the clash at Old Trafford.
James McArthur is likely to be on the bench after he came through the midweek clash unscathed, the Scot featuring for the first time since February when he damaged his ankle ligaments.
The only three players missing for the trip to Wembley are Paddy McCarthy, Marouane Chamakh and Brede Hangeland.
Pardew is expecting a tight and tense game against Watford on Sunday and has indicated he feels the game could go all the way to penalties after revealing his players have been practising spot kicks in training this week.
“We’ve introduced it to training this week. It’s a skill we want to be comfortable with,” said Pardew.
“You can’t recreate the tension of that walk up to the spot, but we want to be confident in our ability.”
