Crystal Palace have no plans to part company with Alan Pardew despite an alarming slide down the Premier League table.
Pardew worked miracles when taking charge in January 2015 and Palace’s excellent form continued into this season as they flirted with the Champions League places.
However, they have struggled since Christmas and, after failing to pick up three points in any of their last 11 matches, they are perilously close to the relegation zone.
Despite the slump, reports have suggested the Palace hierarchy have every faith in Pardew and have no intention of showing him the exit door.
Pardew has guided Palace to the semi-finals of the FA Cup where they will face Watford, and they have a genuine chance of going all the way in the competition.
Palace need to pick up at least another two wins to guarantee Premier League survival and Pardew wants them in the bag before the Wembley showdown.
