Pantic irked by Vitesse treatment

Chelsea midfielder Danilo Pantic wants to end his loan spell at Vitesse due to a lack of playing time at the Gelredome.

The Premier League giants and Dutch club have a reciprocal loan agreement, with five Blues’ stars current on temporary deals with the Eredivisie outfit, but it appears as though not all is rosy in the camp.

Pantic has made just nine substitute appearances in eight months at the Arnhem outfit despite arriving with a great reputation following his early career with Serbian side FK Partizan.

Manager Peter Bosz made it clear early on that the Serbia Under-19 ace would need to time to settle in and reach match fitness, but Pantic believes there is more to it than that.

“I want to come back to Chelsea, just to train,” he told Serbian newspaper Blic. “Why am I in Vitesse if I am not good enough? I am crazy! I’ve made no mistakes. If I had a chance and blew it, I would keep quiet.

“Maybe in Vitesse they don’t like us Serbs: Nemanja Matic did not get a chance here either and Uros Djurdjevic played 22 matches in a year and a half.”
