Alberto Paloschi says he wants to have a long and prosperous Swansea career after scoring his first goal for the club on Sunday.
The striker was signed by the Swans from Chievo last month in a deal worth around £7million and it is hoped he will be able to fire the goals that will help keep the Welsh side in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old found the back of the net early on against Spurs on Sunday but ultimately his side couldn’t hang on in the game and they eventually slipped to a 2-1 defeat at White Hart Lane.
Paloschi arrived with a decent reputation after managing eight goals in Serie A in the first half of the season in Italy and now he hopes to make a big impact in England.
He said on Wales Online: “I am very happy and determined to stay here and do well in the Premier League for Swansea.
“I will do all I can to enjoy my stay here and make it a success.”
