Crystal Palace are back in the hunt for Chelsea striker Loic Remy, but reports claim Valencia are also keen to do a deal.
Remy is facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge as reports continue to link him with a move away, and long-term admirers Palace are ready to resurrect their interest.
The Eagles were heavily linked with a move last season as boss Alan Pardew targeted a new striker, but a deal failed to materialise and the Frenchman ended up staying with the Blues.
However, as Pardew struggles to lure Christian Benteke away from Liverpool, it has now been suggested that he could launch another bid for Remy, who he knows well from his time at Newcastle.
There are two potential sticking points to any deal though. It has been suggested that Chelsea are trying to use Remy as makeweight in a deal to sign Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, while Spanish outfit Valencia are also in the hunt.
Remy’s situation could drag on until the closure of the transfer window, but there is a good chance he will be heading for the exit door at Chelsea.
