Crystal Palace are confident of keeping hold of key defender Scott Dann amid reported interest from Everton.
Dann, 26, impressed last season and was probably unlucky not to be under consideration for a place in the England Euro 2016 squad.
Everton have been linked with the centre-half in the past and new boss Ronald Koeman is believed to have included Dann on his list of targets this summer.
However, Palace assistant boss Keith Millen doesn’t think Dann will be leaving Selhurst Park in the transfer window.
He told South London Today: “It is nice, in a way, that you get speculation with your players from top teams.
“Scott has done well this season and been one of our main players. We don’t need to sell players for the money – that’s for sure.
“We don’t want to lose Scott – we want to build our team around him. There is going to be speculation with Everton, like there was before, but he signed a new contract last year.
“He has had another good year for us. You never know in football but we certainly don’t want to be losing our best players.”
