Norwich City are being linked with a double swoop on Crystal Palace, with Dwight Gayle and Jordon Mutch said to be the targets.
Gayle came close to leaving Selhurst Park last summer but he turned down a move to Bristol City in favour of fighting for his place in the Palace first team.
The striker again struggled for regular action, although injuries did not help, and when he was given a chance in the starting eleven he often produced the goods.
Palace boss Alan Pardew has always insisted Gayle is in his future plans, but that does little to stop speculation linking him with a move away from the club.
Norwich have been interested in Gayle for the last 12 months and could make another move, although they will face competition from Newcastle and Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, Mutch has slipped down the pecking order at Selhurst Park and the Eagles will be more than happy to cash in if Norwich make a bid for the midfielder.
