Outrage as Nicola Sturgeon’s SNP accused of WASTING taxpayers’ money on ‘bizarre motions’

Figures found the SNP tabled 590 EDMs in the 2015-16 parliamentary session, averaging out at £271 per motion.

This leaves the staggering figure at £159,890 of taxpayers’ money frittered on the formal motions tabled for debate in the House of Commons.

It means over a five-year period the sum wasted on motions will approach £1million.
