Crystal Palace are in the hunt to sign Mathieu Flamini, but former Everton midfielder Leon Osman is not a target.
The transfer window may have closed, but players without a club can still sign past the deadline, and Eagles boss Alan Pardew is known to be keen on Flamini.
The Frenchman is without a club following his release by Arsenal at the end of last season, and Pardew would like to get him on board at Selhurst Park.
However, Osman will not be arriving at Palace following his release from Goodison Park, despite the fact Pardew wants to bolster his midfield further.
“Yes, he plays in midfield – but he’s not on my radar, if I’m honest, no,” Pardew told the Croydon Advertiser when quizzed about the speculation.
