On July 19 in 2004, Ivory Coast and Marseille striker Didier Drogba agreed a move to Chelsea.
The following day, he completed his £24million transfer to Stamford Bridge and the rest is history.
Now 38 and playing for Montreal in the MLS, the forward enjoyed the best days of his career in west London, playing nine seasons across two different spells.
He won four Premier League titles, three League Cups and four FA Cups with the club, but perhaps his best moment in a Blues shirt was his dramatic late equaliser in the 2012 Champions League final.
It was a goal which eventually saw Chelsea finally crowned European champions and cemented his place in the club’s history books.
