West Brom star Jonas Olsson insists his side are still trying to pick up points, despite having now secured Premier League survival.
Albion have 41 points and, as such, have secured a place in the top flight next season.
The Baggies slipped to a 3-0 defeat at home to West Ham last time out but Olsson has rejected the suggestion the players have eased off after reaching the 40- point mark.
“We want to push on,” Olsson told the Express & Star. “We always want to finish as high as possible. Anyone who’s seen us recently will know we’re still at it and that we don’t want to play off the season. We want to strive for better.”
He added: “The energy, effort and being professional is there. Everyone in the team can look themselves in the mirror in that respect.”
West Brom are currently 14th in the Premier League table but they could finish as high as 11th if they beat Bournemouth and Liverpool in their final two league games.
