Wes Hoolahan, Alex Tettey and Michael Turner will stay at Norwich City until 2017 after the club took up one-year year options in their contracts.

Defender Turner, 32, spent last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.

Youngsters Ben Killip and Jamie Eaton-Collins will stay for a further year, while eight players have been released.

Among them is Jamaica forward Jamar Loza, who scored once in six matches for the Canaries and had six loan moves away from Carrow Road.

The others to depart are Reiss Awuah, Afolabi Coker, Adel Gafaiti, Reece Hall-Johnson, Cameron King, Cameron Norman and Arinse Uade.

The club announced full-back Steven Whitaker, 31, signed a new one-year deal, with an option for a further 12 months, in May.
