Midfielder Mark Noble has described West Ham’s season as “fantastic” but says the players are now hungry for much more in the future.
The Hammers ended the campaign seventh in the Premier League in boss Slaven Bilic’s first year in charge, earning themselves a possible Europa League group place if they successfully come through a qualifier this summer.
Noble has been delighted with the progress made under Bilic, saying they have exceeded their targets.
“We’ve done fantastic this year,” he told the club’s official website. “We surpassed all expectations – with the new players coming in and the new manager.
“We’ve re-assessed. We’re not getting greedy but we want as much as we can.”
The Hammers captain added: “We can go away on holiday and enjoy the season we’ve had.”
