Jurgen Klopp says he is yet to decide which goalkeeper to select against Hull on Saturday between Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius.
The Liverpool boss has a dilemma over who to choose as his No.1 for the home clash with the Tigers after summer signing Karius proved his fitness on Tuesday on his debut against Derby in the EFL Cup win.
The former Mainz player had been out with a hand injury since July but is now battling for a place in Klopp’s line-up with Mignolet, who has been first-choice so far this term, and some reports suggest the new boy will get the nod ahead of the established Belgian this weekend.
However, Klopp says he has yet to make a decision and is keeping his cards close to his chest about his selection options.
“When I make a final decision for the next game it doesn’t mean we will go like this for the next five years,” he told reporters.
“I am really happy with both of them. This isn’t the place to announce line ups. We have to think about it in a positive way.”
“It’s a decision at a high level because I am very happy with both of our keepers.”
