Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says Arsenal have yet to make an offer for Alexandre Lacazette and believes he is happy to stay.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with the France international and could be ready to break the bank as Arsene Wenger looks to end his search for a new striker.
Some reports have suggested that talks have taken place over a deal but Aulas says this could not be further from the truth and Arsenal haven’t even made a bid.
Aulas also believes the player is happy where he is and is looking forward to another season with Lyon.
“I saw Arsene during France matches and he has not told me,” Aulas told L’Equipe. “I don’t think it’s something and it seems Alex wants to spend this season with Lyon in the new stadium.
“He wants to know an adventure in the Champions League could be much better than last season. I think he will stay with us and we are very happy.”
Wenger is running out options as he looks to sign a new striker after already missing out Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy.
