Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has opened up the possibility of seeing a Premier League and NFL double header at Spurs’ new ground.
The new 61,000 all-seater stadium is scheduled to be up and running in time for the start of the 2018-19 season and they already have plans to host two NFL games per season.
Now Levy and NFL executive Mark Waller have spoken of the possibility of playing the two sports on the same day at the new ground as it opens up all sorts of possibilities for the future.
Levy told ESPN: “I don’t think it’s something we’d want to try in our first game, but that is certainly realistic.
“How exciting: the idea of having the two biggest leagues in the world from a television perspective – fantastic! – play on the same day.”
