Newcastle will be willing to listen to offers for star man Georginio Wijnaldum should they get relegated to the Championship.
The Dutchman has been a shining light in an otherwise dismal season for the Magpies, who are without a win in their last five and sit three points adrift of safety.
Wijnaldum, however, has impressed since he signed from PSV Eindhoven last summer, scoring nine goals in 33 appearances.
But according to De Telegraaf, Wijnaldum is unlikely to hang around at St James’ Park if they go down and Newcastle are preparing themselves for a wave of bids for the attacking midfielder.
Newcastle paid £14.5m for the 25-year-old last summer and will be looking to recoup the vast majority of that fee should they decide to sell.
