Newcastle winger Remy Cabella expects to make his loan move to Marseille permanent in the summer.
The France international moved to the Ligue 1 side in August last year after falling out of favour at St. James’ Park.
Within that loan deal was the option for Marseille to sign Cabella permanently at the end of the season and the 25-year-old predicts that will happen.
“Yes there is the option to buy, this is what was expected from the start,” Cabella told Foot Mercato.
“I think it will be activated. Normally I [expect to be at] Marseille next season. I am happy. I have adapted well.
“I get along great with the club, the staff and all the players. There is a great atmosphere. Now I want to help this club back to the highest level.”
