Ramadan Sobhi has vowed to be patient as he looks to become a regular in the Stoke side since signing from Al Ahly.
The 19-year-old is very highly rated but Potters boss Mark Hughes is easing him in gently and the youngster has yet to be handed a place in his starting line-up yet this season.
That will come at some point and Sobhi admits that he is willing to bide his time and grab the opportunity when it presents itself.
“Discipline is the key word,” he said. “I am focused on training and working hard without paying attention to what others say. Whether I am selected is up to the coach.
“I am not worried about that and I am sure my time will come if I keep up the good work until I reach my goal at Stoke City. Things aren’t easy here but the fans have supported me since the start.
“Of course they are not screaming my name but I can hear them during warm-ups.”
